Video Chat means Online

Video Chat uses the power of the Internet to communicate in real-time between two people or groups of people.

It uses interactive technology that allows people in two or more locations to conduct two-way communications using both video and audio. It is not the same as video phone that is deigned for use between two individuals only.

The technology behind video online chat is a digital compression system that compresses video and audio for streaming in real-time.
